Homerville, GA Mrs. Betty Lou Morris, 60, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at Clinch Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Morris was born September 25, 1948, in Bacon County, to Lucille Jordan Schafer, of Papaville, GA, & the late Lester Leggett. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by two brothers: Eddie Leggett & Don Leggett. Survivors are her husband: L.C. “Skeeter” Morris, of Homerville; five daughters & two sons-in-law: Tammie Payton, of Ohio, Marsha & Bernie Nelson, of Homerville, Tracy & John Hamilton, of Folkston, GA, Robin Morris, of Moultrie, GA, & Tiffany Morris, of Homerville; one son: Bryan Morris, of Homerville; five brothers: Elbert Leggett, of Baxley, Timmy Leggett, of Waycross, Gary Leggett, of Seattle, WA, Chris Leggett, of Alma, & Tony Leggett, of Papaville, GA; thirteen grandchildren; & several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Morris will be held Friday, November 14, 2008, at eleven o'clock from the Roundtree Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Waycross, GA. The family will receive friends from the funeral home, Thursday, November 13, 2008, from 6 til 8. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Morris Family.
