Billy Joe Johnston

Homerville, GA Mr. Billy Joe Johnston, 60, passed away Monday, November 3, 2008, at the Veterans Medical Center, of Lakecity. Mr. Johnston was born August 15, 1948, in Clinch County, to the late Johnny Will Johnston, Sr. & Rzona Deen Johnston. He was employed by DuPont Yard in the Post Mill. He was a member of the Buzzard Bay Hunting Club & Baptist by Faith. Mr. Johnston was preceded in death by one brother: Bobby Johnston. Survivors are his wife: Judy McMillian, of Homerville; Johnston two daughters & a son-in-law: Caroline & Wesley Roundtree, and Julie Johnston, both of Homerville; two sons & daughters-in-law: Billy M. & Jennifer Johnson, of Homerville, and Jim Bo & Connie Cox, of Savannah; one sister: Jann Stalvey, of Homerville; one brother & sister-in-law: Johnny W. "Coonie" & Debbie Johnston, Jr., of Homerville; seven grandchildren; & several other relatives. Services for Mr. Johnston will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008, at three o'clock from the DuPont Full Gospel Mission Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the funeral Home Wednesday evening, November 5, 2008, from 6 til 8 pm. Mr. Johnston will be carried to the church one hour prior to services.
