Martha Sue Smith

Homerville, GA Miss Martha Sue Smith, 73, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008, at the South Georgia Medical Center, of Valdosta, GA. Miss Smith was born December 1, 1934, in Clinch County, to the late John Bert Smith & Eva Mae Nettles Smith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was retired from B-Way. Miss Smith was preceded in death by three brothers: Bert Smith, Jr., Carol Smith & Herschel Smith, Sr.,; and two sisters: Daisy Jordan & Fonnie Braswell. Survivors are one sister: Betty Jean Hallford, of Homerville; a number of nieces & nephews; & several other relatives. Services for Miss Smith will be held Sunday, October 26, 2008, at three o'clock from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 25, 2008, from Roundtree Funeral Home, from 7 til 9 pm. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Smith Family.
