Allen "Teddy Bear" Hinson

Homerville, GA Mr. Allen Terry “Teddy Bear” Hinson, 53, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at Clinch Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hinson was born December 21, 1954 to Alma Smith Hinson & the late Warren Reavis Hinson. He was retired from the Georgia State Department of Agriculture as an Agriculture Inspector and a member the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church, R.G. “Bob” Dickerson Hunting Club, and Mason’s Cassia Lodge # 224. Survivors, other than his mother, are one sister & brother-in-law: Amy & Will Williams, of Homerville; two brothers & sisters-in-law: David & Kay Hinson and Wayne & Debbie Hinson, all of Homerville; a number of nieces & nephews; and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Hinson will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008, at eleven o’clock, from the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery with Masonic Honors. The family will receive friends Friday evening, September 26, 2008, at the Roundtree Funeral Home, from 6 til 8. Mr. Hinson will be carried to the church one hour prior to services.
