Homerville, GA Mr. James William “J. W.” Boyles, 70, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the, Clinch HealthCare, Homerville, Georgia following an extended illness. Mr. Boyles was born November 3, 1943 in Ware County to the late James Boyles and Nice Griffin Boyles. He was a retired machinist for B-Way with 44 years of service. He was a member of the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Boyles. Survivors are his wife: Peggy Janell Lee Boyles, Homerville; two sons and daughter-in-law: Joe Sherrod, III and Robert Jerome and Kim Sherrod, all of Homerville; two sisters: Sharon Ellis, Homerville and Tommie Marie Powers, Fernandina Beach, FL; one sister-in-law: Joan Boyles, Homerville; one grandson: Kameron Rogers, Homerville; his special companion, Rambo; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Boyles will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at eleven o’clock in the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friend’s Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Boyles will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
