Dell Terry Bennett

Homerville, GA Mr. Dell Terry Bennett, 65, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008, at Clinch Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Bennett was born February 15, 1943, in Clinch County, to the late Dell Eason Bennett & Vesta Elizabeth James Bennett. He was retired from the City of Homerville Water Department and was a Past Clinch County Coroner. He was a member of Argyle United Methodist Church, Antioch Methodist Church, a Mason, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, & helping build cars in his spare time. Survivors are one daughter: Elizabeth Jane Bell, of Douglas, Ga; three sons: Dell Lee Bennett, of Argyle, James Lewis Bennett, & Santiargo Bennett, all of Homerville; one brother: Willis Bennett, of Manor, Ga; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several other relatives. Memorial Services for Mr. Bennett will be held Sunday, September 7, 2008, at three o’clock, from the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Sunday, September 7, 2008, at the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church, from 2 til 3 p.m. Donations may be made to the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church % P.O.
