William "Barney" Clifford Cone

Fargo, GA Mr. William “Barney” Cone passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at his residence at Fargo, Georgia following an extended illness. Mr. Cone was born on February 22, 1918, at Fargo, Georgia to the late Charles and Ella Cone. He was retired as a Game Warden with the Georgia State Game & Fish Commission. He was preceded in death by one sister, Myrtle Lee Sullivan. Survivors are his wife of 73 years Bonnie Louise Pitts Cone and several other relatives. Funeral Services for Mr. Cone will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Ramah Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family requests no flowers and no food.
