Homerville, GA Mr. James Larkin Landrum, Jr., 61, passed away Monday, August 11, 2008, at Clinch Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Landrum was born August 28, 1946, in Clinch County, to the late James Larkin Landrum, Sr. & Patie Jones Landrum. He was a self-employed Bee Keeper, he had worked with Brockway Standard for 25 years, a Mason and he enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Mr. Landrum was preceded by four sisters: Doris Hendrix, Evelyn Thrift, Janie Smith, and Ave Nell Strickland. Survivors are one son & daughter-in-law: James Larkin (Amber) Landrum, III, of Nashville, Ga.; his former wife: Jeanette Landrum, of Homerville; and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Landrum will be held Thursday, August 14, 2008, at two o’clock, from the Shiloh Congregational Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 13, 2008, from the Roundtree Funeral Home, from 7 til 9. Mr. Landrum will be carried to the church one hour prior to the service.
