Manor, GA Mrs. Frances Ollie Burkett Wilson, 78, passed away, Saturday, June 7, 2014, at her residence, surrounded by her loving and caring family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Wilson was born June 5, 1936 in Millen, GA to the late Wilson Franklin Burkett and Maude Ethel Selph Burkett. She worked for Brockway Standard and was a member of the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilbur Oscar “Winton” Wilson, who passed away on Jan. 9, 2014, and one sister, Naomi Burckhalter. Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: Connie & Earl Ammons, Manor; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy & Carlene Wilson and Glenn & Shaunell Wilson all of Homerville; five granddaughters and their husbands: Karen Davis, Rachel & Jacob Rowell, Brook & Kevin Allen, Christy & Kevin Davis and Holly & Brian Delk; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law: Betty June Cason and Joann & Virgil Dial, all of Homerville; one brother and sister-in-law: Roy & Sara Burkett, Surrency, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held Monday, June 9, 2014 at two o’clock in the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
