Homerville, GA Mrs. Dollie Mae Douglas Maine, 88, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Maine was born January 5, 1920, in Clinch County, to the late James Leonard Douglas & Debbie Shavers Douglas. She worked at Brockway Standard as an Inspector, and was a member of the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Maine was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Maine, Sr.; two sisters: Lillie Balance & Lottie Spivey; and six brothers: Phoma Lee Douglas, Edmand Douglas, Hardy B. Douglas, S. T. Douglas, Arlie Douglas, & Willie Douglas. Survivors are one daughter: Audrey Lupo, of Homerville; one son & daughter-in-law: Kenneth “Buddy” & Janice Maine, Jr., of Lake St. Louis, MO; two sisters & a brother-in-law: Leitha Smith, and Louise & Hubert “Jr” Adams, all of Pine Bluff, AR; one brother & sister-in-law: Elroy & Janice Douglas, of Homerville; four grandchildren: Brian & Jami Maine and Jeff & Renae Maine, all of Wenzville, MO, Janet & Ben Pafford, of Lakeland, Ga, Jim & Bridgett Colley, of Homerville; six great-grandchildren: Hunter Pafford, of Lakeland, Ga, Craig Colley, K.J. Infinger, and Brooklyn Welch, all of Homerville, Molly Maine, and Mason Maine, both of Wenzville, MO; and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Maine will be held Friday, July 25, 2008, at eleven o’clock, from the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church. Internment will be held in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 24, 2008, from the Roundtree Funeral Home, from 7 til 9pm. Mrs. Maine will be carried to the church one hour prior to services.
