Beverly Drenee Douglas

Homerville, GA Mrs. Beverly Drenee Hodges Douglas, 65, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 in the Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL, following an extended illness. Mrs. Douglas was born May 14, 1948 in Headland, AL to the late Byron Hodges and Flowers Blondell Brookins Hodges. She was retired from the Department of Defense and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Guntersville, AL. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce McKeithen and a brother, Gary Hodges. Survivors are her husband: Willie “Bill” Douglas, Homerville; two sons and daughters-in-law: Charles Richard & Donna Douglas, Guntersville, AL and Michael Sean & Adrian Douglas, Conneaut, Ohio; two sisters and brother-in-law: Carolyn Mummert, Panama City, FL and Diane & Bill Gazafi, Jacksonville, FL; one brother and sister-in-law: Wayne & Claudia Hodges, Pensacola, FL; two grandchildren: Kristen Douglas and Joshua Douglas; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services for Mrs. Douglas will be held Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at eleven o’clock AM in the Pine Forest Cemetery. There will be a family visitation Thursday night from 7 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
