John Richard Fowler

Homerville, GA Mr. John Richard Fowler, 69, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 in the Clinch Memorial Hospital. Mr. Fowler was born Sept. 12, 1944 in Columbus, GA to the late John Henry Fowler and Doris Justine Greene Fowler. He was a retired Regional Manager for IBM and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors are two sons: Craig Fowler, Jasper, GA and Chris Fowler, Oxford, GA; two daughters: Cara Whigam, Homerville and Carla Carlson, Columbus, GA; three sisters: Connie Dorrill, LaGrange, GA, Debbie Bloodworth, Columbus, GA and Teresa Moore, Phoenix City, AL; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial services for Mr. Fowler will be held Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at two o’clock from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Memorilization is by cremation.
