Winton Wilson

Manor, GA Mr. Wilbur Oscar Winton Wilson, 81, passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Wilson was born April 14, 1932 in Ware County, GA to the late Henry Walter Wilson and Katie Barnadore Wilson. He was a retired logger and was a member of the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by four sisters: Pauline O’Berry, Margaret Douglas, Martha Hines and Lucy Morgan; five brothers: Henry Wilson, Jon Wilson, Tom Wilson, Coats Wilson and Ben Wilson. Survivors are his wife, Frances Burkett Wilson, Manor; one daughter & son-in-law: Connie & Earl Ammons, Manor; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy & Carlene Wilson and Glenn & Shaunell Wilson, Homerville, GA; five granddaughters: Karen Davis, Rachel & Jacob Rowell, Brook & Kevin Allen, Christy & Kevin Davis and Holly & Brian Delk; eleven great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be held Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at two o’clock from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
