David Allen Hill

Homerville, GA Mr. David Allen Hill, 58, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013 in the VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL, following an extended illness. Mr. Hill was born Oct. 24, 1955 in Homerville, GA to the late Daniel B. Hill and Mary Ann Pittman Hill. He was a heavy equipment operator for DuPont Wood Yard and was a member of the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church and attended the Unity Christian Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Brian Hill and one brother, Huey Hill. Survivors are his wife, Nancy Nipper Hill, Homerville: five daughters: Myrinda Hill, Rebecca Hill, Pamela Harrell, Anisa Royals and Jamie Lee Davis, all of Homerville; one son: Hayden Davis, Homerville; four sisters: Mary Henderson, Waverly, GA, Jean Rewis, Dorothy Balance and Linda Powell, all of Homerville; five brothers: Daniel Hill, Lake City, FL, Deanie Hill, Homerville, Mark Hill, Valdosta, Dwight Hill, Jasper, FL and Charles Hill, Blounstown, FL; ten grandchildren, hunting buddies: Deanie Hill, Jr. & Densil Hill and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial services for Mr. Hill will be held Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at two o’clock from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Memorialization will be by cremation. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1 until 2 p.m. at the Shiloh Church. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
