Henry Lee McSwain

Mr. Henry Lee McSwain, 70, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. McSwain was born April 25, 1938 in Irvindale, GA, to the late Jesse McSwain and Fannie Luke McSwain. He was a retired truck driver, member of the Masonic Lodge #32, of Callahan, FL, and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Willis “Dub" McSwain & Luke McSwain; & one sister: Betty McSwain. Survivors are his wife: Patricia Trackey McSwain, of Homerville; one daughter: Kathy Ogden, of Cole, AL ; five sons: Curtis McSwain, Michael & Sherri McSwain, all of Callahan, FL, Gerald McSwain, of Jacksonville, FL, Steven & Lorri McSwain, of Santa Clause, IN, & Jon McSwain, of Hahira, GA; two step-daughters: Sherry Keller & Kelly Jonier; one sister: Elizabeth Bell, of Douglas, GA; one brother: Jesse McSwain, of Jacksonville, FL; a mother-in-law: Lillann Phinney, of Glenn Falls, NY; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; eight nieces and twelve nephews. Services for Mr. McSwain will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at ten o’clock, from the Homerville First Baptist Church. Internment will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Ambrose, GA. Mr. McSwain will be carried to his residence Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at four o’clock. Mr. McSwain will by carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
