Leo Bagley

Homerville, GA Mr. Leo Bagley, 80, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at his residence, following an extended illness. Mr. Bagley was born Sept. 4, 1932 in Augusta, GA to the late Thomas Bagley and Dora H. Bagley and lived in Clinch County most of his life. He was a self-employed truck driver, and member of the Church of God. He was preceded in death by one son: David Bagley and two sisters: Lillie Mae Bagley and Frances Frazier. Survivors are his wife: Mary Emma Holmes Bagley, Homerville; two daughters: Mary Newbern and Brenda Jewell, both of Homerville; one daughter-in-law: Dottie Bagley, Homerville; one brother: Noah Bagley, Homerville; 2 grandchildren: Johnny Newbern, Homerville and Gina Bagley Musgrove, Homerville; six great grandchildren: Aaren Newbern, Kurt Newbern, Johnny Newbern, EmmaLee Newbern, Jada Bagley and Trista Bagley, all of Homerville, a number of other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Bagley will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 at two o’clock from the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 til 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Bagley will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
