Homerville, GA Mrs. Joan Warren Humbers, 47, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Humbers was born Nov. 8, 1965 in Hahira, GA. She was a homemaker, member of the Live Oak Free Holiness Church and had lived in Clinch County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother: Wanda Carter Steedley. Survivors are her husband: Wesley Myron Humbers, Homerville; one daughter and son-in-law: Heather Renee & Jonathan Brock Graddy, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: Johnny Lee & Maricia Dale Thomas, Homerville; her father and stepmother: Jimmy Lee & Clarene Warren, Berrien County; her stepfather: Frank Steedley, Lakeland: four sister’s and brothers-in-law: Debra & Jimmy Mizell, Teresa & Greg Mathis, Jennifer Johnson all of Homerville and Delores & Regan Clayton, Carrollton, GA; one brother and sister-in-law: Wayne & Connie Warren, Lakeland; three grandchildren: Brianna Graddy, Brayden Graddy and Nehemiah Thomas; her father and mother-in-law: James Earl & Martha Humbers and a number of other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Humbers will be held Thursday, June 13, 2013 at eleven o’clock from the New Vision Church of God. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Humbers will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
