Homerville, GA Mrs. Trudie Janette Grantham “Granny” Lieupo, 85, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Lieupo was born Feb. 18, 1928 in Berrien County, GA to the late Charlie E. Grantham and Vietta Tucker Grantham and had lived all in Clinch County most of her life. She was retired from BWay Corporation and was a member of the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to be outside working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Lieupo, Sr., two brothers: Carroll E. Grantham and Walter E. Grantham; one great grandson: John Wesley Lieupo and one great granddaughter: Millie Claire Lieupo. Survivors are her children: Donnie Lieupo and special friend Mavis Trowell, Ronnie Lieupo and wife Claudia, Bonnie Gail Lieupo, Donna Ruth Lieupo and Russell Lieupo and special friend, Lisa Green, all of Homerville; six grandchildren: Scott & Natasha Lieupo, Jonathan & Miranda Lieupo, Jackie & Eddie Tompkins, Rusty & Teresa Lieupo, Dustin Lieupo and Joseph Lieupo Porter; eleven great grandchildren; a very special friend of “Granny”, Vira Mae McRae and a number of other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services for Mrs. Lieupo will be held Sunday, May 12, 2013 at four o’clock in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
