Clifton Howard “Juke” Davis, Jr.

Homerville, GA Mr. Clifton Howard “Juke” Davis, Jr., 59, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital, in Gainesville, FL, following an extended illness. A native of Clinch County, Mr. Davis, had lived in Folkston for the last several years, He was a self employed auto body shop operator, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his father: Mr. Clifton Howard Davis, Sr. Survivors are two sons & a daughter-in-law: Greg & Christie Davis, of Valdosta, GA, and Jason Davis, CA; his mother & step-father: Zelma Ree Smith Chauncey & Everal Chauncey, of Homerville; four brothers: Mike Davis and Billy Davis, both of Jacksonville, FL, Jerry Davis and Rev. Keith Chauncey, both of Homerville; two granddaughters: Molly Davis & Maggie Davis, both of Valdosta, GA.; & several other relatives. Services for Mr. Davis will be held Friday, March 28, 2008, at eleven o’clock from the Roundtree Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Chauncey.
