Harry Reed Evans

Homerville, GA Mr. Harry Evans, 64, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Clinch Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Evans was born July 27, 1943, in Clinch County, to the late Barney Russell Evans & Eula Mae Teston Evans. He was employed by B-Way Corp. before his retirement, and attended the New Vision Church of God. Mr. Evans was preceded by one son: Daniel Evans. Survivors are his wife: Bonnie Kay Hillhouse Evans, of Homerville; one daughter: Deanna Evans, of Homerville; one sister: Shirley Colbitt, of Lakeland, GA; four brothers & 3 sister-in-laws: Donnell Evans, of Villa Rica, GA, Russell & Carylon Evans, of Marietta, GA, Jesse & Kathy Evans, of Lakeland, GA, twin brother: Larry & Janice Evans, of Argyle, GA & several other relatives. Services for Mr. Evans will be held Thursday, March 13, 2008, at eleven o’clock from the New Vision Church of God. Officiating will be Rev. David L. Vanoy. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Roundtree Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 12, 2008, from 7 til 9.
