Homerville, GA Mr. Clarence Eugene Smith, 81, passed away Tuesday morning, February 5, 2008 at Clinch Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Smith was born March 20, 1926, in Clinch County. He was the son of the late Estyl Smith & Gladys Studebaker Smith. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Pearson, GA. He worked as a Carpenter. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by two sons: Windell Edwin Smith & Raymond Earl Temple. Survivors are his wife: Mary S. Smith, of Homerville; one daughter & son-in-law: Charlotte & Ray Robinson, of Homerville; one son: Gary Temple, and friend, Carol Howard, of Homerville; one sister: Jewell Moule, of Green Bay, WI; eight grandchildren: Gary Robinson and Daniel Robinson, both of Homerville, David Robinson, of Hahira, Ronnie Henshaw, of Detroit, MI, Kaycee Humphries and Krystal Temple, both of Clearmont, FL, Billy Temple, of Orlando, FL, and Gary Temple, Jr., of Canada; six great-grandchildren; and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Smith will be held Saturday February 9, 2008, at eleven o’clock, from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pearson, GA. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Roundtree Funeral Home, Friday evening, February 8, 2008, from 6 ‘til 9. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Smith Family.
