Homerville, GA Mrs. Myrtie Marie Suggs Jordan, 85, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008, in the Clinch HealthCare Center, Homerville, following an extended illness. Mrs. Jordan was born November 4, 1922 in Ware County to the late John Wesley Suggs and Maggie Mercer Suggs. She has lived in Clinch County most of her life and was a homemaker. She was the widow of Alfred Thomas Jordan and was preceded in death by one sister: Millie Rigdon and four brothers: Milton Suggs, Enoch Suggs, Lee Roy Suggs and Wilburn Suggs. Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: Louise & Verl Sherrod, Homerville; one brother and sister-in-law: Cary & Louise Suggs, Homerville; two grandsons and granddaughter-in-law: Marvin & Vickie Sherrod and Vernon Sherrod, Homerville; one great grandson: Andrew Hunter; four great granddaughters: Britnee Michelle Sherrod, Jherri Lavonna Sherrod, Courtney Musgrove and Summer Musgrove and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Jordan will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at one o’clock from the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Ramah Cemetery.
