Homerville, GA Mrs. Alice Nadine Slaughter Peagler Moore, 88, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, in the Clinch HealthCare Center in Homerville. Mrs. Moore was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Columbus, GA, to the late William Ellas Slaughter and Minnie Viola Clardy Slaughter. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she served in many different positions. She was preceded in death by one brother: William Andrew Slaughter; one sister: Viola Laverne Slaughter; two half-sisters: Rebecca Rowena Hodge and Frances Eileene Hodge. Survivors are her husband: Richard Moore, Homerville, GA; one sister: Betty Jeanette London, Homerville; a close friend: Gib Born, Boise, ID; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Services for Mrs. Moore will be held Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at ten o’clock from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pearson. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery, Homerville. Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Mrs. Moore will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
