Jean Peagler Davidson

Davidson, Jean Peagler Lucy Eugenia (Jean) Peagler Davidson died peacefully on October 1st in Pompano Beach, FL. Jean was born in Waycross in 1920, the daughter of Robert and Lucy Peagler of Manor. She lived in Manor and Homerville, and then graduated from Waycross High School in 1937. She married Norton A. Davidson in 1943 and they lived in Georgia until moving to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1960. She is predeceased by her husband, "Sandy" Davidson, and brothers Robert, James, and Philip Peagler. She is survived by her brother Gerald Peagler, her children, Sandy (Wesley), Robert (Jean), Suzanne Moore (Mike), and Philip (Loretta), 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Our mother will be buried at Pine Forest Cemetery in Homerville on Saturday, October 6th @ 4 pm, with David White of Trinity Methodist Church presiding. Memorial donations can be made to John Knox Village Employee Scholarship Fund 651 Village Dr. Pompano Beach, FL 33060 in lieu of flowers. Arrangements with Roundtree Funeral Home, Homerville, GA.
