Homerville, GA Mrs. Willie Grace Parrish Allen, 82, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at her daughters residence is Sardis, GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Allen was born Oct. 13, 1925, in Brevard County, FL to the late Foster Floyd Parrish and Lydia Bell Foskey Parrish. She had lived in Clinch County until 1985 when she moved to Sardis with her daughter. Mrs. Allen was a member of the Waynesboro Church of God and was retired from Brockway Standard. She was the widow of Lawton Pennington Allen and was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Parrish. Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: Susan & Scotty David Campbell, Sr., Sardis, GA; one son and daughter-in-law: Terry & Maudie Allen, Homerville; four grandchildren and their wives: Scotty David & Jacqueline Campbell, Jr., Rome, GA, Lynn & Shawn Hulett, Homerville, Patricia Campbell Hurst, Sardis and Shannon & Shasta Allen, Stockton: eleven great grandchildren: Savannah Campbell, Girard, GA, Edward Campbell, Tray Campbell & Cale Campbell all of Rome, Hope Hurst & Lindy Hurst, both of Sardis, Olen Hulett, Skyler Hulett & Hyson Hulett, all of Homerville, Landan Allen & Mattox Allen, Stockton, one brother, Virgil Parrish, New York, and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Allen will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at eleven o’clock from the New Vision Church of God. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery, Homerville. Mrs. Allen will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Friday night from 7 till 9 p.m. Mrs. Allen will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
