Homerville, GA Mr. John Oris Sirmans, 58, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Sirmans was born Dec. 31, 1953, in Clinch County, to Bobbie Lee Futch Sirmans, DuPont and the late Joel Arthur Sirmans. He was owner/operator of John’s Underground and a member of the Harvest Time Church of God. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Carrington Joyce one sister, Carrie Aleta Sirmans, grandfather and grandmother, John Alva and Carrie Lee Futch. Survivors is his wife: Ellen Nash Sirmans, Homerville, GA; three daughters and sons-in-law: Jena & Jaime Joyce, Tanya & Aaron Walker, Sr. and Ellen Lee & John Andrew Young III, all of Homerville; two sisters and brother-in-law: Denese Cox and Derese & Larry Rigdon, all of DuPont; three brothers & sisters-in-law: Alvin Sirmans, Lakeland, Faron & Betty Sirmans, Homerville and Jason & Cindy Sirmans, DuPont; seven grandchildren; Kaleb Cason, Zachary Cason, Trenton Cason, Chloe Joyce, Kalei Walker, Aaron Walker, Jr. and John Andrew Young and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Sirmans will be held Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at four o’clock from the Harvest Time Church of God. Interment will be at Sirmans Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
