Douglas, GA Mr. James Gaston Paulk, 89, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Paulk, was born Dec. 6, 1922, in Douglas, GA, to the late Henry Paulk and Flossie Belch Paulk. He served in World War II, in the U. S. Navy as a Seaman First Class and was a retired aircraft mechanic at Warner Robbins Air Force Base. He was preceded in death by a special friend Juanita Ewry. Survivors are five daughters: Debbie Paulk, Ellaville, GA, Bonna Martin-Gillard, & Kimberly Fanning, both of Douglas, Donna Martin, Waycross, and Bobbie Jean Musgrove, Axson, GA; four sons: Mike Paulk, Middleton, OH, Gary Paulk, Ellaville, GA, Rusty Martin, Waycross and Jody Martin, Columbus, GA; 9 grandchildren: Chris Paulk, Jeff Paulk, Tammy Paulk, James Paulk, Nicole Wood, Martin Todd, Rachel Tanner, Lance Fountain and Logan Fountain; two great grandchildren, Kalen Wood & Chloe Todd; special friend, Devoy Martin, Sr., Waycross and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Paulk will be held Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at eleven o’clock from the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.
