Mrs. Ava Nell Touchton

Homerville, GA Mrs. Ava Nell Roe Touchton, 83 of Homerville, GA passed away early Thursday morning September 13, 2007 at Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Touchton was born February 1, 1924 in Clinch County, She was a member of the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Sally Thomas Roe and Johnny Roe and was preceded in death by her husband William Franklin Touchton , and one son Franklin Touchton . Survivors are one daughter Glenda Ballance of Homerville, one sister: Johnnie Faye Vest also of Homerville, and one brother Otis Roe of Houston, TX., and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Touchton will be held Saturday September 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Chauncey and Rev. Lynn Barber. Internment will be at Pine Forest Cemetery.
