Homerville, GA Mrs. Euna Muriel Zeigler O’Quinn, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in the Baptist Village Nursing Home, Waycross, following an extended illness. Mrs. O’Quinn was born Feb. 2, 1928, in Echols County to the late Jefferson Bartow Zeigler, Sr. and Daisy Tomlinson O’Quinn. She was a retired nurse, having worked at the Dr. A. I. Robbins Clinic, Clinch Memorial Hospital, Brockway Standard, as the health and insurance nurse, and the local Nursing Home. She was a Pink Lady for several years and was a member of the Homerville First Baptist Church but for the last several years attended the DuPont Baptist Church, where her son is pastor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Delos “J. D.” O’Quinn, four brothers; Eudean Zeigler, Jefferson B. Zeigler, Jr., Jessie Walter “J. W.” Zeigler and Bobby Zeigler. Survivors are one daughter: Gwen Davis, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: Rev. Edwin & Carolyn O’Quinn, Homerville; one sisters: Laura Bennett, Homerville; one brother: Bonnie L. Zeigler, Albany; three grandchildren: Greg & Christie Davis, David O’Quinn and Daniel & Nora O’Quinn; five great grandchildren: Molly Davis, Maggie Davis, Jack O’Quinn, Bradley O’Quinn and Penelope O’Quinn; and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. O’Quinn will be held Friday, Mar. 2, 2012, at eleven o’clock from the DuPont Baptist Church. Internment will be in the Wayfare Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, Mar. 1, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Mrs. O’Quinn will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
