Homerville, GA Mrs. Edith Rebecca Jordan Pittman, 73, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Pittman was born, Feb. 13, 1938, in Ware County, to the late Kenneth Rosco Jordan and Edith Daisy Smith Jordan. She was a homemaker and attended the Fruitland Church of God. She was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Long and one brother Jimmy Jordan. Survivors are her husband: R. B. Pittman, Homerville; one daughter and son-in-law: Susan & Jimmy Smith; one son and daughter-in-law: Neil & Debbie Pittman, all of Homerville, GA; one sister: Alice Holmes, Lake Alfred, FL; one brother: Alfred Eugene Jordan, Jacksonville, Fl; six grandchildren: Blake & Kristen Pittman, Kyle & Tori Pittman, Erin Pittman, Greer & Stephanie Smith, Megan & Dustin O’Neal, and Ali Smith, eight great grandchildren: Lily-Ana Pittman, Jonah Pittman, Braydee Pittman, Tucker Pittman, Kellan Smith, Raife O’Neal, Gavin Coleman and Garrison Coleman; and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Pittman will be held Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at three o’clock from the New Vision Church of God. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
