Fruitland, GA Mrs. Beulah Chauncey Carver, 80, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Carver was born Jan. 27, 1931, in Clinch County to the late Martin Chauncey and Minnie Rose Cribbs Chauncey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fruitland Church of God. She was the widow of James C. Carver, Sr. Survivors are five daughters and sons-in-law: Vonceil Huggins, Brenda & Alton Fender, all of Fruitland, Debbie & Danny Baker, Valdosta, Annie & Mark Hayes, Howell and Gwendolyn & Scott Fender, Fruitland; four sons & daughters-in-law: James & Lynn Carver, Chatsworth, GA, Billy & Gwen Carver, Bainbridge, GA, Robert & Helen Carver and Dolan & Kathy Carver, all of Fruitland; three sisters: Freddie Lou Register, Fargo, Minnie Lee Manac, Fruitland and Rosalyn Burks, Philadelphia, MS; two brothers: Johnny Chauncey, Enigma, GA and J.M. Chauncey, Ft. Pierce, FL; twenty six grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Services for Mrs. Carver will be held Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at one o’clock from the Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church. Internment will be in the Wayfare Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 after 10 a.m. at 1302 Chauncey Road, in Fruitland. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
