Homerville, GA Mr. Tommy Ruffian Pearson, Sr., 65, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007, surrounded by his loving family following a short fight with cancer. Mr. Pearson was born October 3, 1941, in Bradenton, Fl, to the late James Ruffian Pearson and Nellie Albritton Pearson. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle. He loved playing the guitar and always had a big smile and hug for everyone he met. Survivors are his wife: Sandra Gibson Pearson, Homerville; three daughters: Tammy Mathews, Las Vegas, NV, Pam Taft and Deanna Pearson both of Homerville; three sons: Tommy Pearson, Jr. and D. J. Pearson both of Cartersville, GA and Rick Pearson, Homerville; four sisters: Leona Hornbuckle and Lois Pearson both of Lakeland, FL, Jeanice Thomas, Argyle and Terry Jackson, Tampa, FL; seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Pearson will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at two o’clock from the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle. Internment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
