Midway, GA Mr. Harmon Van Jeffords, Jr., 66, passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at his residence in Midway, GA. Mr. Jeffords was born June 23, 1945 in Homerville, to the late Harmon Van Jeffords, Sr. and Vera Mae Joyce Jeffords. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Shiners’. He was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Burner, two sisters, Nelda Jeffords and Rose Mary Jeffords and one brother, Bud Jeffords. Survivors are his wife: Sherry Davis Jeffords, Midway, GA; four daughters: Debra Roof, Sharpsburg, GA, Pam Griffin, Gilbert, SC, Crystal Jeffords Crowley, Gay, GA and Dana Lee Causey, Springfield, GA; one son: Ken Bruner, Marlow, GA; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathryn Rogers, Hahira, GA, Jerrie & Clyde Gurley, Pearson, GA, Lottie & Bruce Creech, Tampa, FL and Ann & Billy Joe Graddy, Fargo, GA; three brothers & sisters-in-law: Robbin & Marissa Jeffords, Washington, John Jeffords, Homerville and Alan & Vicki Jeffords, Waycross; 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Jeffords will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at two o’clock from the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Internment will be in the Arabia Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roundtree Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donation may be made to the Nancy N. & J. C.
