Box 301 Homerville, GA 31634 Office 912-487-5325 Fax 912-487-2050 Cogdell, GA Mrs. Nettie Harrell Hathaway Hinson, 69, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007, in the Lake Haven Nursing Home, Valdosta, GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Hinson was born Nov. 25, 1937 in Worth County, GA, to the late Leon Harrell and Serena Worth Roberts. She was a waitress and a member of the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church. Survivors are her husband: Robert Hinson, Cogdell; one son: Luther Don Hathaway, Hephzibah, GA; one step-son: Afton (Bernice) Hinson, Forest Park, GA; one sister: Evelyn Crews, Homerville; two brothers: Aurthur (Tracy) Roberts, Homerville and Harvey (Cheryl) Roberts, Rochester, NY; a sister-in-law: Annie Ruth Roberts, Valdosta: four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Hinson will be held Thursday, July 26, 2007 at two o’clock from the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Camp Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Manor. Mrs. Hinson will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 till 9 p.m. Mrs. Hinson will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
