Elizabeth Ann Royals Nov. 4, 1953 – July 9, 2011 DuPont, GA Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Royals, 57, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Royals was born Nov. 4, 1953 in Atkinson County to Evelyn Zorn, Florence, SC, and the late Emmett Zorn. She was a shipping clerk for Lee Container before her illness and was a member of the Covenant Outreach Ministries. She was preceded in death by one son: Brandon Shane Royals. Survivors other than her mother are her husband: Randall Benjamin Royals, DuPont; two daughters and a son-in-law: Rebecca Joan “Becky” & Don Wetherington, Hahira and Brittany Nicole “Nikki” Spivey, DuPont ; two sons: Randall Andrew “Andy” Royals, DuPont and Derek Allie Royals, Douglas; three sisters & brothers-in-law: Elaine & Jimmy Brown and Ailene & Tim Lumpkin, all of Pearson and Teresa & Arthur Harris, Lumber City, GA; two brothers and sister-in-law: Harvey & Patty Zorn, Irwinville, GA and John Zorn, Florence SC; five grandchildren: Hannah Wetherington, Anisa Royals, Megan Wetherington, Brandon Royals and Gabe Royals and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Royals will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at eleven o’clock from the DuPont Baptist Church. Interment will be in the North Cemetery, DuPont. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 6 till 8 pm at the funeral home and request that food be carried to the DuPont Baptist Church Social Hall. Mrs. Royals will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
