Phyllis Smith Hall Nov. 22, 1953 – June 28, 2011 Douglas, GA Mrs. Phyllis Smith Hall, 57, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Hall was born Nov. 22, 1953, in Clinch County to the late, Grover W. Smith and Juanita Stalvey Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Prospect Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband of 27 years, Robert Charles Hall, Douglas; one daughter and son-in-law: Bobbie H. & Michael Stephens, Douglas; three sons and daughters-in-law: Jacob & Rachel Rowell, Manor, Wes Rowell, Camden, NJ, and Robert Charles & Amy Hall, II, Valdosta; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda Gail & Virgil Hazel, Adel, Carla S. & Andy Musgrove, and Janice S. & Tim Register, all of Homerville; one brother and sister-in-law: Warren Franklin & Patricia Smith, Yulee, FL; eight grandchildren and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Hall will be held Saturday, July 2, 2011 at eleven o’clock from the Prospect Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Empire Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Lakeland, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, July 1, 2011, from 6 till 8 p.m. Mrs. Hall will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
