Timothy Wayne Townsend

Valdosta, GA Mr. Timothy Wayne Townsend, 49, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Townsend was born August 5, 1961, in Stanton, VA, to Mrs. Doris Townsend of Valdosta, GA and the late Mr. Kenneth Bishop Townsend. He owned and operated Estate Jewelry and Pawn and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Valdosta, GA. Survivors are his wife Katherine “Kathy” Morgan Townsend; one sister and brother-in-law: Lee Ann and Steve Roberts of Valdosta, GA; one brother: Steve Townsend of Fairbanks, Alaska; father-in-law and mother-in-law: John Albert and Barbara Jean Morgan; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Steve and Lisa Conner of Homerville, GA, Johnny and Amy Morgan of Homerville, GA; several nieces and nephew and other relatives. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at three o’clock in the Pine Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, Mar. 7, 2011 at Carson-McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
