Mr. William Clay Heath, 59, passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, in the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, from complications following an automobile accident. Mr. Heath was born June 15, 1951 in Homerville, GA to the late Dr. Hezekiah K. Heath and Jane Bowen Heath. He was a domestic engineer and a member of the Homerville United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Chris Heath. Survivors are his wife: Susan Rechsteiner Heath, Homerville; one daughter: Amanda Heath, Jacksonville, FL; one son and daughter-in-law: Daniel & Dr. Rhonda Kelly Heath, Douglas, GA; one grandson: Christopher Michael Heath, Douglas, GA; six sisters and brothers-in-law: Carol & Allen Ray, Jacksonville, FL, Lyn & David Wofford, Las Cruces, NM, Ellen & Craig Scott, Waycross, GA, Laura & Mike Pittman, Jacksonville, FL, , Millie Heath and Dr. Lina & Collen Harper all of Waycross; one brother and sister-in-law: Carl & Suzi Heath, Germany; his step-mother: Sharon Lee Heath, Waycross, GA and several other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Heath will be held Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at two o’clock from the Homerville United Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will be at the home of his sister, Ellen Scott, 2801 Albany Ave., Waycross, GA and will receive friend’s Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Heath will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Heath Family.
